Welcome to the Family Support Network (FSN) Southeast Region. The FSN was started 8 years ago by the Family Support Council (FSC). The FSN is state wide. There are six regions, each with a regional coordinator and parent’s group.
The Network is a partnership of parents and professionals across CT. dedicated to supporting families who are raising children with a disability.
We offer one to one support, speakers, trainings and workshops so families can get the information they need. We provide links to resources and agencies that can provide services. We help families find a voice in policymaking.

• Get as involved as you want.
• Come to our monthly meeting
• Attend one of our workshops or a legislative event and meet your state and local policymaker.
• Get on our informational list serve (e-mail list) and receive answers to your questions, information and notices about events.

We meet the first Wednesday of the month at 6pm at L&M Hospital, unless there is a special event that month. Meeting notices are sent out on the list serve.

Parent’s Group Holiday Celebration 12/3/08

The Holidays and long school vacations can be very stressful for families who are raising a child with a disability.  The CT FSN Parents Group December meeting is an open agenda meeting to celebrate the holidays, and share strategies for reducing the stress through the holiday break. New parents and caregivers are always welcome

Please bring a batch of your favorite Holiday cookies (optional) and any issues you want help with.
